Peggy Brown Forgy, beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away quietly August 4, 2004. She was born on July 4, 1947 the daughter of Richard Ray Brown and Geneva Faith Phillips.
Peggy grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and graduated from Granger High School. She devoted most of her earlier life to raising and supporting her three children. After her children were grown, she continued to work and became a real estate agent in Utah. This led to a career as an advertising account executive that allowed her to travel extensively. Due to her career, Peggy lived in Alaska for several years before settling in Reno, Nevada in 1999. Despite the many physical challenges she endured, she continued to work and was always very thoughtful and generous with her family and friends.
Peggy was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She felt her children and her grandchildren were her greatest loves and her fun, outgoing personality will be deeply missed by all. She is survived by her three children and their spouses; Chris (Holly) Sundstrom of Salt Lake City, Utah; Kelli (Eric) Coughanour of Richland, Washington; Lisa (Art) Davis of Salt Lake City, Utah; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 10, 2004 at 1p.m. at the Walnut Hills LDS Chapel located at 5938 W. 6200 S. Kearns, UT. Friends and family may visit with the family one hour prior to services. Interment Redwood Memorial Cemetery, 6500 South Redwood Rd., West Jordan. Directors: Redwood Memorial Mortuary.
