Lynn Richard Burrows peacefully left this world to join his sweetheart Jackie on October 4, 2015. He passed away at home of natural causes. He was one of 6 children to parents Richard and Dorothy Burrows. He was blessed to call Jackie's 7 siblings his own as well. He grew up in Bennion, Utah. He graduated from Granger High School in 1965 and shortly after married Jackie, the love of his life, on April 25, 1966. They were married 49 years. Lynn and Jackie were never apart until just 6 months ago when Jackie passed away from an illness. He told us she taught him how to love. They prove that true love's bond can never be broken. We are happy for the joyous reunion they are having.
Everyone that knew Lynn loved and admired him. He was a quiet man whose loyalty, integrity, and hard work gave him many opportunities. Shortly after his high school graduation he joined the
Army and served his country well. He was instrumental in establishing AYSO Soccer in the Cottonwood Heights and surrounding areas. He received many honors while working as a respected Master Electrician and Businessman. He was admired for his honesty and work ethic. He was enjoying his retirement and using his time golfing, bowling and having fun with his children and grandchildren. He spent many years bowling on a men's league at All Star Lanes in West Jordan. That was his home away from home up until his passing. He treasured many friendships there.
Family meant everything to Lynn. He taught us to be generous, honest, caring, giving, respectful and determined. He showed us how to stand up for the things we believe in. He was our protector, provider and best friend. We will miss you Dad! You're the best Dad and Grandpa we could have asked for. Give Mom a kiss for us. We love you!
Lynn is survived by his son Dennis (Larkin), son Dean (Jessica), daughter Dee (Larry), 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
An Open House to celebrate Lynn's life will be held at the Burrows residence at 5479 W. Clipper Peak Circle in Herriman, Utah on Friday, October 16th, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm. Online condolences may be shared at
